Lactimet: L- Lactic acid support

L-Lactic acid small intestine detox.

In order for good bacteria to be able to kill or suppress bad bacteria, stool ph must be 6.8 or below (6.6 optimal). Use these ph papers to test your stool ph. Choose the darkest color that appears as your value.

A healthy microbiome has 11x more Gram + than Gram – bacteria.   As we age, this inverts to 2x more Gram – than Gram+ with disastrous effects.  SCFAs may support proper G+/G- ratios.

As hunter gatherer animals, humans are meant to walk 6 miles a day.  This would raise blood lactate levels.  10 drops of Lactimet may support a blood lactate level similar to what is achieved by a vigorous 4 hour hike.  Best to do Lactimet and then go for a gentle walk so the muscles can consume the lactic acid.   Consider testing your blood lactate levels with a lactate tester.  We like THE EDGE tester.  It uses one drop of blood.

Lactic acid has regenerative effects on skin, making it softer and younger looking.

While lactic acid sounds like it comes from or contains milk, it does not.  It is suitable for those with dairy allergies or intolerances or vegans.

Lactic acid activates neural and intestinal stem cells. It may have this effect on all stem cells…

Lactic acid is beneficial to the brain.  It improves mood and confidence and helps recover from Social Defeat Stress, the psychological pain of social rejection from a group or individual.

Lactic acid promots resilience to stress and rescued social avoidance and anxiety by restoring hippocampal class I histone deacetylase (HDAC) levels and activity

Ingredients:  A proprietary blend of L-Lactic acid, fulvic acid, acetic acid and purified water.

Protocol:  Mix 1/4th of a teaspoon into 4 ounces of fruit or vegetable juice.  Stir well.  Drink through a glass straw.  Rinse mouth out well after drinking.  Take on alternating days.

Dosage:  While the best way to calculate dosage amount and frequency is to measure your blood lactate level, consider finding a dosage that feels like you’ve just gone for a very long walk and you’re feeling just a little sore.  1/4 a teaspoon drops is similar to the effects of a 4 hour vigorous hike.   Do not go beyond this amount and frequency without checking your blood lactate levels with a handheld lactate meter.  We suggest THE EDGE lactate meter.  You should also visit our Bicarbamet product page to learn more about pH.

Warning:  Do not take undiluted.  Do not get on your eyes or skin.   Discontinue if you experience any of the following signs of metabolic acidosis:

  • Fast breathing

  • Fast heartbeat

  • Headache

  • Kidney or lower back pain

  • Confusion

  • Fatigue

  • Nausea

You may wish to consider these as well…

Ellagica

Ellagitannin and gallotannin may support increased G+ and decreased G- bacteria in the microbiome.

Xeneplex

Panaceum contains 9 different oligosaccharides in a ratio that simulates a primitive hunter gatherer diet, giving your microbiome the nutrition it needs to operate at optimal health.

Glytamins

Healthy bile flow is part of a functioning microbiome.  Bile kills parasites, supports proper transit time and triggers antimicrobial production in the small intestine.  If you are working on your gut, consider Glytamins.

A healthy microbiome requires a stool pH below 6.5 (preferably 5.7).  This requires lactic acid, but when the pH is alkaline, LAB (lactic acid bacteria make toxic D lactic acid.  L Lactic acid (Lactimet) may help reset the pH so that L lactic acid is produced.
