Captimet contains the chelator DOTA. DOTA is a macrocycle (ring shaped) chelator with 4 COOH groups and 4 amine groups. Being ring shaped, DOTA is very stable and unlikely to redistribute. The 4 COOH groups can bond with hard metals like Aluminum, Gadolinium and Titanium. The 4 amine groups can bond with borderline metals. DOTA also makes powerful bonds to lead and mercury.
DOTA is water soluble, not fat soluble so it is best for the beginning stages of chelation where we clear the water compartments of the body (blood, lymph and connective tissue). Once these areas have been chelated, we can move on to the fat soluble phases with chelators like Dasimet and Dotamet.
You may wish to consider Captimet to support the body in dealing with aluminum, cadmium, copper, nickel, lead, gadolinium and mercury.
Ingredients: Tetraazacyclododecane tetraacetic acid, sunflower lecithin, MCT, phosphatidyl choline, ethanol, glycerine, plant cellulose, candellia wax and purified water.
You may wish to consider these as well…
Chelation should only be done when urine pH is ~7.5. This minimizes redistribution risk. Consider 1 Bicarbamet per 25 lb bodyweight with 8 oz of water and your chosen chelators first thing in the morning on an empty stomach.
Dasimet is Mia-DMSA. Like DMSA, but possibly with more access across membranes into the brain and intracellular spaces.
Chelation must be done with 3 different chelators. Fast-weak, strong-slow and a chelator that bridges the two. EDTA is that bridge chelator.
