You may wish to consider these as well…
For years, EDTA was the go to chelator. Times have changed and now we know that chelation should be done with multiple chelators at the same time. Consider 3 types of chelators. Fast, but weak chelators like Citrates. These can grab metals but can’t hold them well (redistribution). Consider DOTA (our Captimet product), strong but slow. For hard metals, consider all 3 at the same time. Magnesium and potassium citrate (low strength high speed) to both alkalinize the urine (important during chelation) as well as to pull the metals out of the crystal deposits (phosphates). These can then ‘hand off’ the metals to EDTA which is a middle strength middle speed chelator. The EDTA can then ‘hand off’ the metals to the DOTA which is a low speed high strength chelator. For soft metals consider NAC and ALA (fast and weak) with MiaDMSA (our Dasimet product) which is middle strength and middle speed along with DOTA which is low speed but high strength.
Consider Captimet to support the body in dealing with the toxic metals aluminum, cadmium, copper, nickel, lead, Gadoliium, Fe3+ and Titanium in the water compartments of the body (blood, lymph and connective tissue).
Consider our amphipathic chelator Dasimet to support the body in dealing with lead, mercury and silver toxicity.
