Alpha cyclodextrins may support the body in detoxifying trans fatty acids and lipofuscin. Consider it the ‘anti-aging’ cyclodextrin.
Beta cyclodextrins may support the detoxification of lipoprotein, cholesterol crystals, Immune complexes, prions and persistent chemical toxins containing phenyl rings, triazine/alkyl groups, Biphenol cores, Alkyl chains, and Fluorocarbons as well as certain mycotoxins (Aflatoxins, Sterigmatocystin and Patulin). Beta is thus primarily for chemicals and the circulation.
